My Summer TV Obsessions: What I’ve Been Watching and Loving
Sometimes you just need a little escape—whether it’s galactic rebellion, awkward tech bros, or emotional hospital drama. Here’s what I’ve been watching this summer and why I think you’ll love them too:
1. Andor (Season 2)
📺 Streaming on: Disney+
The most well-done Star Wars series I’ve seen—especially season 2. Incredible storytelling, emotional highs and lows, and it made me love Rogue One even more. I laughed, I cried… 100/10 recommend.
2. Silicon Valley
📺 Streaming on: Max / Hulu
Late to the party but fully obsessed. It’s the first comedy I’ve loved this much since The Office. Smart, witty, and surprisingly heartfelt. Plus, the tech world twist made it even better. 10/10.
3. Severance
📺 Streaming on: Apple TV+
This show messed with my head in the best way. Confusing, eerie, emotional—and impossible to stop watching. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you love psychological thrillers, you’ll be hooked. 9/10.
4. Grey’s Anatomy (Season 21)
📺 Streaming on: Netflix / Hulu
Yes, it’s been on forever—but hear me out. I just caught up after a few years off, and it still delivers the drama, distraction, and comfort I needed. Perfect background show when life feels heavy. 7/10 for quality, but 10/10 for healing energy.
5. Sherlock
📺 Streaming on: Prime Video / PBS Masterpiece
A rewatch that hit just as hard as the first time. Brilliant acting, perfect storytelling, and the modern take on Sherlock Holmes still gives me chills. I wish there were more seasons, but what we have is perfection. 100/10.
Let’s be real—TV binging isn’t the healthiest habit long-term, but when your body and mind are calling for rest, a little screen-time escape can be surprisingly healing. If you’ve been in need of a soft landing space, these shows just might help.
Hope you enjoyed this list—and let me know if you’re into this kind of mix of content.
